'Endeavour' holds steady with 5.3 million viewers on Sunday

Endeavour held steady in the ratings on Sunday evening for ITV, overnight data has revealed.

The Inspector Morse prequel drama attracted 5.30 million viewers (21.9%) at 8pm, with a further 369,000 (1.8%) tuning in on +1.

Catchphrase had earlier grabbed 4.50m (21.5%) at 6.45pm (227k/1.0% on +1), while Off Their Rockers amused 4.68m (20.6%) at 7.30pm (342k/1.4%).

BBC One's Countryfile was once again the most watched show of the night, with 6.71m viewers (30.4%) at 7pm. Antiques Roadshow was seen by 5.53m (22.9%) at 8pm.

The Village's penultimate episode attracted a slightly increased 4.82m (20.1%) at 9pm.

BBC Two's evening coverage of the World Snooker Championship scored 1.02m (4.6%) at 7pm. Rupert Murdoch documentary Battle With Britain secured 803k (3.3%) at 9pm.

Bill Bailey's Jungle Hero climbed from last week to 1.64m (6.8%) at 8pm.

On Channel 4, Gok Wan's final episode of Secret Millions was seen by 613k (2.5%) at 8pm (101k/0.4% on +1).

Channel 5's Once Upon a Time brought in 883k (3.6%) at 8pm, followed by documentary Truth About Travellers with 1.31m (5.4%) at 9pm. Michael Caine thriller Harry Brown attracted 1.05m (8.4%) at 10pm.

BBC Three's repeat of The Voice UK entertained 960k (4.0%) at 7.45pm.
