The central part of the coverage will be the one-hour highlights programme every evening in primetime on Eurosport 2. It will be repeated every morning on Eurosport.

During the build-up to the event, the channel will have shows looking back at Bradley Wiggins's victory in 2012, focus pieces on Cadel Evans and Chris Froome, a review of the 2012 race and a special preview show for this year's event.

New aspects to the 2013 Tour include the debut visit to Corsica, the double ascent of the Alpe d'Huez and the night-time ride onto the Champs Elysées.

UCI former No.1 in the world Sean Kelly and seven-time Tour de France 'King of the Mountains' jersey winner Richard Virenque are among the talent offering viewers insight into the Tour.

Other special programming includes the original broadcast The Ride, a four-part programme looking at two amateur cyclists who won the Eurosport-promoted competition 'Conquer the Road'.
