'The Voice' UK rallies to 5.8m on BBC One

The Voice UK rallied after last week's series low with 5.81 million (28.1%) from 7pm on Saturday (June 15), overnight data suggests.

The BBC One show was up 1.6m on the previous episode, which had switched to a Friday to avoid a clash with the final of Britain's Got Talent. It peaked at 6.26m.

ITV suffered from the absence of BGT, attracting 3.2m (16.2%) for computer animated movie Despicable Me at 6.45pm. Goodbye Granadaland, which saw Peter Kay and other celebrities bid farewell to Granada Studios, followed at 8.30pm with 2.1m (10%).

The third episode of US thriller The Americans had 1.1m (6%) at 10pm, down 710k on last week.

Back on BBC One, Casualty was watched by 4.43m (21.5%) at 9.30pm and Match of the Day pulled in 1.68m (10.8%) at 10.30pm.

BBC Two aired coverage of the Trooping the Colour pageant between 6.30pm and 8pm, interesting 1.8m (9.4%). Rugby Union followed with 1.3m (6.2%) at 8pm and film A Serious Man was seen by 530k (3.5%) from 10pm.

Channel 4 showed The World's Weirdest Weather to 890k (4.4%) at 7pm and The Million Pound Drop Live to 1.2m (5.7%) an hour later. Date Night took 900k (5.1%) at 9.30pm.

Elsewhere, NCIS was watched by 702k (3.4%) and 1.1m (5%) respectively from 8.15pm on Channel 5, while the latest episode of Big Brother had 1.2m at 9.15pm, down 760k on yesterday's second launch episode. Big Brother's Bit on the Psych grabbed 613k (3.6%) from 10.15pm.

Match of the Day Live was the highest rated show on the multichannels, picking up 921k (4.4%) on BBC Three at 7.30pm.
