'Frankie' attracts over 4 million for finale on BBC One

Frankie climbed back in the ratings for its finale episode on Tuesday (June 18), overnight data reveals.

Eve Myles's BBC One drama achieved its best figures since its premiere, rising to 4.24 million viewers (19.5%) at 9pm. Earlier, The One Show entertained 3.86m (21.9%) at 7pm.

On BBC Two, Airport Live was seen by 2.51m (12.5%) at 8pm, followed by new six-part documentary Route Masters: Running London's Roads with 2.32m (10.7%) at 9pm.

ITV's new series Nature's Newborns brought in 2.44m (13.1%) at 7.30pm (115k/0.6% on +1). Animal Heroes finished with 1.88m (9.4%) at 8pm (108k/0.5%), while Royal Windsor's Big Week attracted 1.52m (7.0%) at 9pm (140k/0.8%).

On Channel 4, Something for Nothing debuted with 1.21m (6.0%) at 8pm (108k/0.5%). Child Genius continued with 1.49m (6.9%) at 9pm (279k/1.7%).

Dates' latest episode held steady at 979k (5.3%) at 10pm (127k/1.3%), and Dawn O'Porter's new show How to Find Love Online interested 619k (5.2%) at 10.30pm.

Channel 5's Gibraltar: Britain in the Sun continued with 1.07m (5.3%) at 8pm. CSI thrilled 1.57m (7.3%) at 9.15pm (204k/1.2%).

Big Brother levelled at 1.33m (7.9%) at 10pm, while Rylan Clark's Bit on the Side grabbed 524k (6.0%) at 11pm.

On BBC Three, The Call Centre was the highest-rated multichannel show with 909k (4.2%) at 9pm. Sweat the Small Stuff entertained 445k (2.4%) at 10pm.

Sky1's Mad Dogs dipped to 380k (1.8%) at 9pm. On Dave, Storage Hunters peaked at 757k (3.9%) at 8pm.
