Chris Lilley reprises Ja'mie King role for 'Private School Girl'

Summer Heights High creator Chris Lilley is reprising his role as Ja'mie King for a new series.

Private School Girl will follow Ja'mie as she completes her final year back at Hillford Girls Grammar School after her stint at Summer Heights High.

Lilley said of his character: "I find teenage girls endlessly funny. So being able to write for and play the meanest bitch in school has been so fun. I can't wait to show everyone what Ja'mie's been up to."

Private School Girl will see Ja'mie experience a series of life-changing events during her last few weeks of school.

The six-part comedy series is co-produced by Lilley and Princess Pictures in association with ABC TV in Australia and HBO in the US. BBC Three will air the show in the UK later this year.

Lilley started shooting the mockumentary earlier this year and told Digital Spy: "I'm well under way with a new project and I'm keeping it a bit of a secret and under wraps for now.

"It's along the same lines as my other shows, it's a mockumentary style and I'll play the characters. I want to keep as much of the show as possible a secret, but if you've loved my last three shows, this is part four."

Ja'mie also appeared in We Can Be Heroes.
