'Breathless' drops 800k for episode 2, 'Peaky Blinders' climbs 200k

Breathless dropped nearly 800,000 viewers for its second episode on Thursday (October 17), according to overnight data.

The ITV drama dipped to 2.66 million (12.5%) at 9pm (265k/1.6% on +1). Earlier, Michael Buerk's new series Britain's Secret Treasures was seen by 3.03m (14.3%) at 8.30pm (208k/1.0%).

On BBC One, drama Truckers fell by around 600k from last week's opener to 2.25m (10.6%) at 9pm.

BBC Two's Trust Me, I'm a Doctor interested 2.63m (12.1%) at 8pm, while the final Peaky Blinders of the series climbed by around 200k to 1.64m (7.8%) at 9pm.

On Channel 4, Location, Location, Location gathered 1.70m (7.8%) at 8pm (212k/1.0%), followed by Educating Yorkshire with 2.48m (11.7%) at 9pm (449k/2.8%). New series Up All Night opened with 1.12m (6.8%) at 10pm (200k/2.2%).

Channel 5's The Railway continued with 876k (4.0%) at 8pm, while Countdown to Murder appealed to 961k (4.5%) at 9pm.

On ITV2, Celebrity Juice entertained 1.16m (6.9%) at 10pm (195k/2.1%).
