Esther Rantzen and Bobby Ball are also set to take part in the BBC One game show hosted by Alexander Armstrong.
McFly's Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones will work in one team, while Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter team-up in another, for the tea time show's celebrity special.
The boys are set to go up against pairs Wogan and Rantzen, as well as Mack and Ball.
Pointless adjudicator Richard Osman will also do his bit, wearing a tiger onesie throughout the programme, due to air tomorrow (November 15) at 5.15pm on BBC One.
The jackpot for the special edition is increased to £5,000, with each answer adding £500 to the Children in Need prize fund.
Later in the evening, McFly will also perform in the new supergroup McBusted during the main Children in Need appeal show.
