Top Gear's 21st series will be kicking off with an '80s theme this weekend as Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May revisit the hot hatches of their youth.
The trio believe that the golden age of hot hatchbacks was the decade of yuppies, Thatcher and Tom Selleck moustaches, and in the opening episode set out to prove just that.
Clarkson in a Volkswagen Golf GTI, Hammond in a Vauxhall Nova SRi and May in a Ford Fiesta XR2i set out on a trip of challenges, which include an unusual visit to the supermarket and an old Army base.
Meanwhile, Downton Abbey's Hugh Bonneville will be the first star to try out the Reasonably Priced Car in series 21.
It was revealed earlier this week that Top Gear was the most requested show on iPlayer in 2014. The programme's Africa special racked up an incredible 3.4 million requests.
Other features in the new series include a trip to Burma, Hammond taking a Mercedes G-Wagen around the Middle East and Clarkson testing out the McLaren P1.
Top Gear airs on Sunday (February 2) at 8pm on BBC Two.
