Happy Valley up again to 5.8m on BBC

Happy Valley rose again in the ratings to top Tuesday night outside of soaps, overnight data reveals.

The BBC One drama was up to 5.8 million (26.7%) at 9pm. Earlier, A Question of Sport quizzed 3.2m (16.2%) at 7.30pm.

On BBC Two, Great British Menu brought in 1.6m (8.0%) at 7.30pm, followed by coverage of the Chelsea Flower Show with 2.7m (12.5%) at 8pm. Watermen appealed to 1.7m (7.7%) at 9pm.

ITV's repeat of Endeavour was seen by 2.0m (9.0%) at 8pm (248,000/1.3% on +1).

On Channel 4, Embarrassing Bodies attracted 898k (4.2%) at 8pm (187k/0.9%). Mr Drew's School for Boys gathered 1.3m (5.9%) at 9pm (273k/1.8%), followed by 16 Kids and Counting with 755k (5.0%) at 10pm (116k/1.5%).

Ben Fogle's Animal Clinic brought in 599k (2.8%) at 8pm, followed by Behind Closed Doors with 874k (4.0%) at 9pm (167k/1.1%). The Mentalist thrilled 927k (5.8%) at 10pm (105k/1.3%).

BBC Three's The Call Centre continued with 850k (3.9%) at 9pm. Sweat the Small Stuff entertained 458k (2.6%) at 10pm.

On MTV, Ex on the Beach attracted 256k (1.6%) at 9pm.
