Britain's Got Talent continues with 8 million on ITV

Britain's Got Talent continued to dominate the ratings with its fourth semi-final on Thursday, overnight data reveals.

ITV's competition dipped by 200,000 from the previous evening to 8 million viewers (36.6%) at 7.30pm. A further 428k (1.9%) watched on +1.

The results show climbed by 700k to 7.4m (33.3%) at 9.30pm (378k/2.6% on +1). ITV2's Got More Talent attracted 719k (4.4%) at 10pm.

BBC One's From There to Here dropped over 2m viewers from last week's launch, falling to 2.4m (10.7%) at 9pm. Food Inspectors brought in 2.3m (10.3%) at 8pm, while Joey Barton's appearance on Question Time gathered 2.7m (10.3%) at 10.35pm.

On BBC Two, Springwatch appealed to 2.3m (10.2%) at 8pm. Burning Desire: The Seduction of Smoking intrigued 589k (2.9%) at 9.30pm.

Channel 4's Posh Pawn brought in 863k (3.9%) at 8pm (250k/1.1%), followed by Meet the Police Commissioner with 499k (2.2%) at 9pm (106k/0.6%). My Granny the Escort fascinated 1.2m (7.6%) at 10pm (230k/2.5%).

On Channel 5, Trauma Doctors interested 755k (3.3%) at 9pm (114k/0.7%). The Man Who Ate Himself to Death attracted 635k (3.9%) at 10pm, followed by The 16-Year-Old Baby with 616k (6.6%) at 11pm.

On BBC Three, England's Worst Ever Football Team gathered 421k (1.9%) at 9pm, followed by Jonah from Tonga with 245k (1.4%) at 10pm.

BBC Four's How the Wild West Was Won educated 908k (4.0%) at 9pm.

On E4, The Big Bang Theory amused 1.2m (5.5%) at 8pm (354k/1.5%), followed by How I Met Your Mother with 730k (3.2%) at 8.30pm (227k/1.0%) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine with 434k (1.9%) at 9pm (167k/0.9%).
