Daniel voted off 'Any Dream Will Do'
Published Sunday, May 20 2007, 09:14 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly
Daniel Boys was the seventh contestant to be voted off Any Dream Will Do last night.
The 28-year-old Londoner was in the bottom two alongside Lewis Bradley after his performance of Will Young's Evergreen failed to earn him enough votes from the public. Judge John Barrowman had praised him for his "flawless" vocals, however both he and Andrew Lloyd Webber admitted that they were concerned about whether Daniel was exciting enough to entertain a West End audience.
Daniel and Lewis were asked to perform Bring Him Home from Les Miserables in the final sing-off before Lloyd Webber announced that he had decided to send home Boys.
"I just want to reiterate what the other Josephs have said," Daniel announced. "This has been the most incredible experience, and I just want to thank everybody."
Any Dream Will Do continues next Saturday at 8.05pm on BBC One.
