Stephen Fry attacks reality TV

Stephen Fry has criticised reality television - which he says "picks over the remains of life".
The actor and host of quiz show QI told how he "loathes and despises" shows such as Big Brother.
"Dancing On Ice is simply torture to me," he added in an interview with The Stage magazine. "I would rather skewer my own eyeballs out of their sockets with a blunt bodkin than I would watch that. I thrive on creativity, energy and excitement."
Fry also revealed he had regrettably had to decline a role in Doctor Who: "When you are set a benchmark of excellence such as that of Russell T Davies, you have to have it right or not at all. So I decided reluctantly on not at all."
