The West End revival of Grease is shaping up to be a box office smash thanks to the popularity of Grease Is The Word.
Although ITV's talent hunt is two million behind its BBC rival Any Dream Will Do in the ratings, its spin-off stage production has reportedly taken £5 million in advance ticket sales.
An ITV source told The Mirror: "We might be behind in the ratings but our sales are best."
Grease opens at London's Piccadilly Theatre on July 25. Its male and female leads will be played by the winners of Grease Is The Word.
