Any Dream Will Do star Lee Mead has revealed how he has bounced back following the death of his grandmother.

The Joseph hopeful was devastated when nan Liz passed away three months ago, but he has now vowed to look to the future and try his best to win the BBC reality series.

"My nan used to take me to the theatre in Southend to watch Boogie Nights and Saturday Night Fever. That's when I fell in love with the theatre and decided that's what I wanted to do for the rest of my life," Lee told The Mirror.

"Of course, I think about my nan a lot and it's been hard. She was such a great person and it would have been fantastic if she could have been here to see me now. But life is about going forward. And I'm determined to move on. We're nearing the end now - it's been a long, emotional journey so far. I'm determined to see it through."
