Robson Green is to star in a new comedy-drama for ITV1 this summer, playing the father of desperate ten year old.
Little Devil sees Green playing Will Crowe, a traumatised father and headmaster who is reeling from the shock discovery that his wife Laura, played by Maggie O'Neill, is having affair with his best friend Adrian, played by James Wilby.
The three-part story is told through the eyes of Crowe's ten year-old son Oliver, played by Joseph Friend, who is forced to take desperate measures in an attempt to save his parents marriage, aided by his best friend and 'partner-in-crime,' Zoe, played by Chloe O'Sullivan.
Green said: "I always enjoy being part of a story that deals with relationships and the effect they can have on children. How can ten year-old Oliver keep his parents together after he discovers his dad's best friend has slept with his mum? The consequences to this scenario are painful, sometimes ludicrously absurd, funny, but most importantly life affirming."
Little Devil airs in early August on ITV1.
