Sir Andrew backs 'Little Britain' musical
Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber has said he thinks making a Little Britain musical would be a "great idea".

Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, the composer turned reality TV supremo revealed he and his children were both big fans of the comedy.

"The only thing my kids wanted to do was see Little Britain," he explained. "Forget Monty Python now."

And, on having the musical idea put to him, he commented: "Why not? It's a great idea, I can't see any reason why not."

Host Norton and Sir Andrew, who work together on Any Dream Will Do, also discussed the contest for a new Joseph.

The composer commented of the show: "We've got a seriously good contest."
