Brand in mind for new Channel 4 comedy
Published Thursday, May 31 2007, 15:06 BST | By Joanne Oatts

According to Broadcast, a 6-part series is being planned, which will see Brand performing stand-up and showcasing archive TV clips. Brand's own independent production company, Vanity Productions, is believed to be behind the programme.
The stand-up entertainer has previously fronted Channel 4's debate series Russell Brand's Got Issues, though it was revamped after the ratings dropped, returning as chat, music and comedy format The Russell Brand Show.
