Live and Kicking replaced by FBi

From April 22nd, a new Saturday morning show, FBi, will replace Live and Kicking on BBC One. The show will start at 8:45am, 40 minutes earlier than rival SM:TV.

FBi will be presented by Keith Duffy (of Boyzone), Kate Heavenor (Fully Booked), and Vernon Kaye (from UK Play's The Phone Zone). The main theme of the show is interactivity (hence the 'I') From e-mail to website and telephone, viewers will have the chance to connect with the presenters and their guests live on air. Animation include Rugrats and X-Men, whilst features include FBi VIP, Don't Drop The Gonk and See It Say It.

The move comes after almost a year of being beaten in the ratings by SM:TV Live, fronted by ex-Byker Grovers Ant and Dec.
