Cult sci-fi show Battlestar Galactica is to come to an end after its fourth series.
Despite being a success for Sky One, its executive producers have decided to end the show.
The co-production with NBC Universal, Sky and US' Sci-Fi channel - a revival of the 1970s series which starred Dirk Benedict - will come to an end later this year in a 22-part series, currently in production in Vancouver.
Executive producers Ronald D Moore and David Eik have said in a joint statement: "Over the course of the last year, the story and characters have been moving toward an end and we've decided to listen to those internal voices and conclude the show on our own terms."
