Tim Lovejoy is quitting his job presenting Sky's Soccer AM after 10 years.
Lovejoy was also a producer on the Sky Sports 1 magazine show, which has been simulcast on Sky One since March.
His co-presenter, Helen Chamberlain, is to remain with the show, which will return for the new 2007/8 season. A new host will be announced shortly.
Sky said Lovejoy, who also presents BBC Two's Sunday show Something for the Weekend, was looking for a "change of life direction," with some reports linking him to a new celebrity entertainment show for Simon Fuller's 19 TV.
