'The Apprentice': Week 11 Recap

By
This week on The Apprentice, Sir Alan subjected the five remaining candidates to a series of interviews with his most trusted business associates. After receiving feedback from his trusted trio of advisers, he would select two candidates to progress to this year's final.

The associates praised Tre for having a "bit of bite" to him, but found that he was unable to accept criticism. However, they were "deeply unimpressed" with the "boring" Lohit.

The associates praised Kristina for being strong, capable and hardworking. However, they noted that her career had not progressed very much in the last five years.

Simon split Sir Alan's trusted trio. While two felt that he was intelligent, articulate and well-informed, one branded him a "gross underachiever" who had failed to "do anything with his life".

The associates noted that Katie was aggressive, powerful and supremely confident. However, they questioned whether she really wanted to work for Sir Alan. One of Sir Alan's associates branded her "totally ruthless" after she admitted that she had lied and cheated to steal another woman's husband.

After firing Lohit, Sir Alan informed Katie that she had made the final. The benighted businessman then fired Tre, advising him to "grow up" if he wanted to progress in the world of business.

An unusually subdued Katie proceeded to inform Sir Alan that she would be standing down from the competition. She was concerned that her children would not be cared for if she moved from her current home in Devon to be nearer to Sir Alan's London offices.

As a result, Kristina and Simon progressed to the final of The Apprentice, which airs on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
