Kris Marshall and Bryan Dick are to star in a new six-part comedy for ITV about the dog-eat-dog world of estate agents.
Sold is set in Colubrines Estate Agents, where Danny, played by Dick, is different to his manipulating colleagues, in that he is an "estate agent with a heart." Danny believes that while money can’t bring you happiness, your dream home really can.
ITV director of drama Laura Mackie, said: “This is a colourful, witty and perceptive workplace drama with a contemporary twist that draws upon the highs and lows of life in the highly competitive world of estate agency. Steve Coombes’ scripts combine great warmth and wicked black humour and he has created a fantastic group of characters the audience should love and hate in equal measure.
Touchpaper Television has made the series, with producer Philip Trethowan and executive producer Rob Pursey. RDF Rights hold all international rights.
"Touchpaper Television has brought together a young and talented cast to give the series real attitude, edge and modernity," Mackie added.
