'The One Show' adds some Klass

The One Show returns to BBC One on Monday July 9 with raft of new presenters replacing Nadia Sawalha, who left the show earlier this year due to pregnancy.

I'm a Celebrity star Myleene Klass and writer and comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli will be reporting from around the UK.

Dan Snow will report on UK history, Dominic Littlewood will cover consumer issues and natural history newcomer Ellie Harrison reports on wildlife around the nations.

Peter Fincham, controller, BBC One, said: "It is great to have The One Show back in the schedule – and this time for a whole year."

Other subjects will be covered by a range of experts including Dr Michael Mosley (health and science), Steve Backshall and David Lindo (wildlife), Lucy Seigle (the environment) and Coast's Neil Oliver (history).

Celebrities Carol Thatcher, Phil Tuffnell, Angellica Bell, Christine Bleakley, Justin Rowlatt and Colin Jackson will also appear as presenters throughout the series.

Executive producer, Tessa Finch, added: "The One Show is bringing together a great line-up of new and established faces from all across the UK. Our experts all have a genuine passion for their specialist area and our reporters have signed up to travel the length and breadth of the country to find the UK's most fascinating stories."
