Ainsley gets the chop
Published Tuesday, Apr 25 2000, 17:00 BST | By Neil Wilkes
The Ainsley Harriott Show, which made its US debut in January, is to be axed after its current series ends in September. The show was tipped for major success, but problems in airing the show at different times across the US are said to be the blame for its ratings demise.
It is understood, however, that Ainsley will start a new show in America later this year, as well as returning to the UK to film 'Ainsley's Gourmet Express' for the BBC.
