Next week's episode Cold Blood sees former Coronation Street actor Bill Ward – Weatherfield's Chalrie Stubbs – in his first major television role since quitting the Street earlier this year.

In the second instalment of the ITV murder drama – currently in its third series - there's a huge explosion at a barracks when a soldier is blown up, prompting DI Hazel Norton and her team to investigate.

It's not long before they realise that the blast was no ordinary one when they discover the body of a woman buried at the site of the explosion itself.
