Sitcom Surburban Shootout is to return to Five in the autumn, the channel has confirmed.
The second outing of the Feelgood Fiction comedy will see the return of Anna Chancellor, Ralph Ineson, Ruth Wilson and Felicity Montagu in a three-part series.
Five’s Controller of Comedy and Entertainment, Graham Smith, said: "Suburban Shootout has been a groundbreaking series for Five and I’m delighted that we’ve once again been able to assemble such a stellar cast of British comedy acting talent.”
The comedy takes place in the British suburban town of Little Stempington where two gun-toting gangs of vigilante housewives - led by Camilla Diamond, played by Anna Chancellor and Barbara Du Prez, played by Felicity Montagu - compete for control of the town.
The series won a Golden Nymph at the Monte Carlo Television Festival earlier this month in the category of Outstanding International Producer for comedy. The producer is Greg Boardman, with executive producer Laurence Bowen and director Gordon Anderson.
