'Apprentice' star slammed for 'cruelty'

Apprentice star Katie Hopkins has been criticised for her "cruel" and "callous" behaviour by the stepson of her lover Mark Cross.

The businesswoman started an affair with Mark and broke up his marriage to 50-year-old Ruth, who has been left devastated by her husband's behaviour.

Ruth's son Lewis Vaile, 26, has admitted that he is furious with Katie for wrecking his family - and believes that she only did so to raise her media profile.

"People think of Katie Hopkins as some kind of pantomime villain because they've only seen her on TV. But what that bitch has done to my mum is very real - and very, very cruel," Lewis told The People.

"Katie has ruined my mother's life and shattered our family happiness. The sickening thing is that I'm sure she planned all this to tie in with being on The Apprentice - to get her in the papers, boost her image as a sexy man-eater and make her a celebrity."

He added: "I've no doubt that when she has found someone better Mark will be dumped too. I don't understand how anyone could act in such a callous and calculating way."
