Cole, Dallerup for Eurovision Dance Contest
Published Thursday, Jul 5 2007, 12:01 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly
Brendan Cole and Camilla Dallerup have been announced as the UK entrants for the first ever Eurovision Dance Contest.
The pair were dance partners for nine years and even planned to get married, but they parted company in 2004 when Cole was accused of starting an affair with newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky, who he was paired with for the first series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Now Brendan and Camilla have agreed to reunite for the contest, which will air on BBC One in September. Hosted by Graham Norton and Claudia Winkleman, the show will see the UK competing against fifteen other European countries, with Strictly Come Dancing judges Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman providing expert commentary.
Cole admitted that he missed his partnership with Camilla in October last year.
