Springsteen turned down 'The Simpsons'
Bruce Springsteen turned down the chance to appear on The Simpsons, the show's executive producer has revealed.

Al Jean admitted that he is desperate for the iconic rocker to follow in the footsteps of Simon Cowell, Sir Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson by making a guest appearance on the show.

However, the 'Dancing In The Dark' star has consistently resisted his advances.

Jean said: "Bruce Springsteen, we've pursued him and he hasn't done it."

Matt Groening, the show's creator, added: "Yet".
