Phillips unhappy with dance hopefuls

Arlene Phillips has complained that too many contestants on her new reality series are overweight.
The choreographer has teamed up with fellow Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli for BBC show DanceX, which aims to find a new dance act. However, Phillips has become concerned that many of the hopefuls are too unfit for the programme.
"I'm looking for gorgeous, unusual, exotic dancers. I think the most important thing is not only that they can dance but also that they're physically fit," Arlene told the Radio Times. "I'm afraid I'm not flexible about and size and shape. But some of them look like puddings."
DanceX begins on Saturday at 6.55pm on BBC One.
