Steve Jones: 'Most TV hosts are average'

T4's Steve Jones has claimed that most TV presenters are "very average".
The 30-year-old Welshman praised a handful of high-profile TV hosts, but insisted that the talent pool on British networks is very limited.
He told DS: "There aren't many good presenters out there to be honest with you. There just aren’t. There are a lot of very average presenters.
"Noel Edmonds is great - Deal Or No Deal is just perfect for him. Russell Brand’s cracking – he’s firing on all cylinders and I like his style. Lauren Laverne is fantastic and I’m lucky to work with her. Dermot O'Leary’s good and Davina (McCall) does a great job on Big Brother, but it’s difficult to go beyond that."
