Catherine Tate to kill off character?

Catherine Tate has decided to kill off one of her most famous characters, Lauren the loudmouth teenager, according to reports.

The comedienne is famed for the catchphrase "Am I bovvered?" from the popular creation, but she has written scripts which would see her die dramatically.

It will be broadcast as a Christmas special for the Catherine Tate Show, which will also guest star singer George Michael.

An insider form the show told the Daily Mirror: "It's going to be Lauren Cooper RIP. Catherine thinks it's time to kill her off, and she'll be going in spectacular style."
