Zane to host new Channel 4 music show

mobileAct unsigned will help an unsigned band to ink a record contract in 12 60-minute episodes.
Unsigned groups in all music genres have been invited to upload their tracks and photos online at www.mobileact.co.uk. The 50 best bands will be filmed auditioning in front of music industry experts, before they embark on a UK tour.
Channel 4 is to collaborate with mobile phone providers Sony Ericsson and Orange on the project, which will run online, on mobiles and on T4.
The show, which is being made by Princess Productions, will air from September to December.
