'Simpsons' targets Fall Out Boy
Published Thursday, Jul 26 2007, 15:48 BST | By Alex Fletcher

The show's creator Matt Groening told XFM: "Any band that names itself after a character of the Simpsons will eventually get on it. So, Fall Out Boy, stay tuned."
The emo rockers claim to have come up with the name after asking audience members at one of their live gigs to shout out suggestions.
Fall Out Boy is the sidekick of Radioactive Man, a popular comic character loved by Bart Simpson in the series.
Groening was speaking at the premiere for The Simpsons Movie, which includes an appearance by another rock band - Green Day. The television show has also featured in the past acts such as The Who, Kid Rock, Tom Jones and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
