Sky One is giving football supporters the chance to play in Premier League All Stars, its new football series for Autumn.
Hosted by Ian Wright and Helen Chamberlain, the Sky One show will see Premier League legends Fabrizio Ravenelli, Paul Merson, Ray Wilkins and Ruud Gullit play alongside celebrities and fans, with each team representing the 20 Barclays Premier League Clubs and playing in their chosen team's kit.
A nationwide talent search is underway to find players, with applications being made via www.skycast.com/allstars, where audition clips can be uploaded. Tapes can alternatively be sent to All Stars, North One TV, 46-52 Pentonville Road, London N1 9HF. All email enquiries should be addressed to: allstars@northonetv.com. Fans have until midnight this Wednesday August 1 to register their interest.
As well as the All Stars Trophy itself, a charity prize fund is up for grabs, which will be split across the clubs’ nominated charities, with the greatest sum awarded to the champions.
The event is being held in conjunction with the Premier League’s new community initiative, Creating Chances, which showcases the Premier League and its Clubs’ contributions to local communities and charities. Running across eight consecutive days from September 23-30 at an indoor venue in London, Sky One will screen a live two-hour programme each evening.
