No death scene on ITV Alzheimer's doc

ITV has admitted that a forthcoming documentary about a man's battle with Alzheimer's disease could be misleading.
The film, which follows Malcolm Pointon and his wife Barbara as they cope with his illness, appears to show the moment when Pointon lost his ten-year battle with the disease. However, Michael's death was not captured by cameras, and this will now be made clear to viewers at the end of the broadcast.
"Malcolm and Barbara: Love’s Farewell is a film which has been over 10 years in the making and addresses the most sensitive subject, both on a personal and public level," said ITV's director of television Simon Shaps. "The filmmaker responsible, Paul Watson, has now confirmed that the film does not portray the moment of Malcolm's passing, which was in fact some days later.
"This will be made clear at the end of the film on transmission and should have been made clear earlier."
The documentary will air on August 8.
