Virgin Media is to show hit US drama The Riches on its new entertainment channel Virgin 1.
The cable operator has acquired the exclusive UK rights to the show, which is produced by Fox Television Studios, in a deal with 20th Century Fox Television Distribution.
The series stars Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver as a husband and wife team of Irish-American con-artists, who assume the identities of a rich family following a car crash.
The 13-episode first season will headline Virgin 1's drama slate when it launches in the autumn. A second series has already been commissioned in the US after the first was FX's second-highest rating premiere.
