Alexa Chung has signed an exclusive deal to present for Channel 4.
The presenter has already worked with the broadcaster on programmes such as Popworld, Big Brother's Big Mouth and T4.
Chung's new contract will mean that she will appear more on T4 alongside regular hosts Steve Jones and June Sarpong, as well as a new music breakfast show called Freshly Squeezed.
"Working on T4 over the last year has been a dream come true. I’ve worked on some fantastic shows and been part of some truly memorable moments – who would have thought that I would found myself in bed with Moby or being Orson’s sexy secretary?!" said Chung. "If the forthcoming months are only half as good as the last year I’ll still be one of the happiest presenters in the business."
Chung will co-present this year's V Festival with George Lamb, extended highlights of which will be airing on Channel 4.
The channel has also planned for her to front a new beauty reality show to be filmed next year.
"Alexa was a fantastic addition to the T4 family when she joined Popworld over a year ago," said Neil McCallum, commissioning editor of T4, music and youth. "Since then she has gone from strength to strength and has firmly established herself as a viewer’s favourite within the T4 strand. We’re delighted she will be working on such a diverse range of shows that will act as a platform for her unique and versatile presenting style."
