It was first reported in May that the former Wham singer was to star alongside Trainspotting actor Jonny Lee Miller in the programme.
It has now been revealed that the 'Fast Love' singer will play Miller's guardian angel in the programme, which is due to be screened in America later this year.
Michael will appear in dream sequences giving advice to his fellow British actor's ruthless attorney-turned-good guy character.
A spokesperson for the show, said: "George really responded to the concept...and his songs reflect the themes of the show."
