Oxo is soon to reveal a 21st century replacement for the famous family of its adverts.
The 1980s and 90s commercial stars, including actress Lynda Bellingham, were in their roles for 23 years until the campaign was ditched in 1999.
Now the stock cube firm is working on a younger, multi-cultural, multi-racial household and last week held auditions in central London.
More than 100 tried out, according to the Daily Telegraph, for five family members plus grandparents.
