New comedy from 'Life of Mars' producer

The makers of Life on Mars have had a new comedy comissioned by Channel 4.
Plus One, written by Tim Allsop and Stewart Williams, stars Rory Kinnear as a man whose ex-girlfriend is getting married to Duncan James from Blue. James and EastEnders' Nigel Harman will appear in the pilot.
Channel 4 has reportedly commissioned five other comedy pilots which will air this November. Ladies and Gentlemen from Talkback Thames is a Victorian comedy written by Peep Show's Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong, and stars Reece Shearsmith and Darren Boyd.
The Kevin Bishop Show features the Star Stories actor, and the co-creator of Father Ted Arthur Matthews has written Eejits. Both are from Objective Productions.
Martin Freeman stars as a former teenage magic prodigy in Other People from Company Pictures, and Big Talk and Bwark has made romantic comedy Bitter and Twisted.
