Chris Morris and the creators of Peep Show are writing a new comedy together, they have revealed.
Morris made Brass Eye and is regarded as one of the top comedy writers of recent years. Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong, who are behind Peep Show, have also been highly praised for their award-winning work.
All three are working on a project which, though they have refused to divulge any details, will be widely anticipated.
Armstrong told MediaGuardian: "I can't say anything more at the moment. Chris will announce further details when he wants to."
Bain and Armstrong are also still making series five of Peep Show for Channel 4 as well as a second pilot for US cable network Spike. Their first, attempt, for Fox, did not lead to a series.
