Parkinson to recreate Emu encounter?
Published Wednesday, Aug 29 2007, 10:12 BST | By Dave West

In 1976, Emu and his partner Rod Hull terrorised the television legend, the bird attacking him on his show.
Now Parkinson is planning to retire after one more series for ITV. But producers want one last encounter between him and Emu.
Rod Hull died in 1999 but his son Toby brought the bird back on children's television.
A source told The Sun: "The Parky-Emu encounter has gone down in TV history so it is only fitting to have another visit on the last show. Will Emu have mellowed with old age?"
Top guests have reportedly been invited for the last Parkinson series, starting next month, including Tony Blair.
