'Hell's Kitchen' boss backs Jim Davidson
Hell's Kitchen boss Marco Pierre White has admitted that Jim Davidson was his favourite contestant.

The fiery chef has named Jim as the best cook of the series, and confessed that he was disappointed when the comic was asked to leave the show after making homophobic remarks to Big Brother 2 winner Brian Dowling.

Marco has also claimed that Jim's discussions about homosexuality were unfairly edited by the producers.

"Jim could easily have won it. And he probably should have seeing as he was the best cook. I was a big fan of his," Marco told the News of the World.

"Jim might have talked for 25 minutes in a conversation. But they only showed two of it on screen. That's taking it out of context.

"In my view Jim was the best in there. He held it all together. Plus he was funny, entertaining and he lifted the other contestants."
