Documentary to launch 'Strictly' series
Strictly Come Dancing bosses have decided to launch this year's series with a documentary about when the contestants first met their professional dance partners.

It will be the first time for a series of the reality dance contest to show the footage in a special programme, which will include interviews with stars that have competed on previous series of the show.

Smallville actress Kelly Brook, ex-EastEnder Letitia Dean, TV presenter Kate Garraway, Mis-Teeq star Alesha Dixon, Dynasty actress Stephanie Beacham, model Penny Lancaster and sports presenter Gabby Logan have been announced to be competing for the girls in this years show.

Completing the line-up for the men will be Gabby's husband Kenny Logan, EastEnders actor Matt di Angelo, Coronation Street star Richard Hillman, Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones, footballer John Barnes, snooker player Willie Thorne, actor Brian Capron and presenter Dominic Littlewood.

The documentary is to be aired on BBC One on September 26 at 6pm.
