The BBC has unveiled Sounds, a new weekly music show airing on BBC Two from next month.
Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac and newcomer Nick Grimshaw will front the series, which promises to feature up-and-coming acts alongside established bands.
Recently a number of music shows, including the BBC's long-running Top of the Pops and Channel 4's Popworld, have been cancelled.
Mac said about the new programme: "I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to showcase new and upcoming bands on TV, it's truly exciting for me. It's so important that music gets this kind of TV exposure."
Sounds airs as part of BBC Two's new teen strand 'Switch' from October 20.
