Martin Clunes is worried that TV viewers will get tired of seeing him on their screens.

The actor has starred in a number of successful shows since Men Behaving Badly, including William and Mary and Doc Martin. However, he is now planning to take a year off because he does not want to be overexposed.

"I'd like to take a break for a year and grow my hair," Martin is quoted by The Sun as saying. "I'm always worrying people will get sick of me. I would hate to be in that position because I love what I do."

He added: "The trouble with being successful is you get to do too much."
