
The former Emmerdale actress was appalled when Jim made a number of homophobic remarks to Big Brother 2 winner Brian Dowling. The comic was eventually kicked off the ITV1 reality show for his offensive comments.
"I've never witnessed a personal attack like Jim made on Brian - it was so wrong," Adele told the News of the World. "There's a lot of things that haven't been seen. I know there were worse things he said than the shirt-lifter - stuff that wasn't shown.
"He said to Brian in the kitchen, 'Are you working on pastries because you're a poof?' and 'Are you sleeping in the girls' bedrooms?' Why would he? He's a man.
"Then on Sunday back at the house when Jim was kicking off, Abbey [Clancy] was so worried about what was going on she hung her apron over the camera. Jim told her to take it down. He wanted the attention he'd get from being so controversial."
Silva finished in second place on the show earlier this month, losing out to former boxer Barry McGuigan.
