'Blue Peter' says sorry over cat name
Published Wednesday, Sep 26 2007, 09:17 BST | By Dave West

Last week it was revealed a new pet was called Socks despite more people picking Cookie. A second new kitten has now been taken on and named Cookie.
The beginning of Tuesday night's programme, the first in a new series, saw Konnie Huq and Zoe Salmon appear alongside both Cookie and Socks.
Salmon told viewers: "You may have already seen or read in the news that Cookie was the name that actually should have been given.
"So today we had to say sorry, and what better way to say sorry than with this cute thing?"
Huq said Cookie was "a brand new kitten, only 13-weeks old, and we're all in love with him".
Tim Levell has been appointed as the new editor of the programme after Richard Marson left - reportedly being sacked over the issue.
