TV writer Carla Lane is selling autographed scripts for her classic sitcoms Bread, Butterflies and The Liver Birds.
The original documents, which include handwritten notes, are being auctioned to raise money for her animal sanctuary in West Sussex.
Lane revealed that the charity is draining her cash reserves, saying: "I have so willingly given my money to Animaline over the years but am now no longer in a position to do so."
She pledged that funds from the sale will help animals "from the Shire horse to the dormouse".
Bread ran from 1986 to 1991, while Butterflies, starring Wendy Craig and Nicholas Lyndhurst, was screened between 1978 and 1983. Lane, 70, is also selling the Liver Birds Christmas special from 1975.
The scripts are on sale at charity auction website www.e2bid.co.uk.
